It's been a while since I last posted a "GET THE LOOK" on the blog, so I thought it was about time for a new one... Today we'll copycat the looks of the rock'n-roll it-couple Sienne Miller & boyfriend Tom Sturrigde. They were sporting a casual and simple look while strolling around in the streets of New York last month. Like this look? A l'occasion de la sortie du nouveau film de Régis Roinsard, "Populaire", la jolie actrice belge Déborah François - héroine du film - est venue nous rendre visite chez Famousbox.
Tea et Cupcakes (merci Lilicup) dans notre studio photos un jour de septembre... Ambiance fin des années 50. Nous lui
avions imaginé une garde-robe bien vintage, à l’image de tout le
stylisme de POPULAIRE, son nouveau film. Mais Déborah se ruera à notre nez
sur les pièces modernes, celles qu’elle mettrait aujourd’hui, celles
avec lesquelles elle voulait bouger, et rire. Baskets compensées, top à paillettes ou encore le slim effet python... Une chose est sûre, Déborah sait ce qu'elle aime et ce qui lui va, et nous on adore le résultat!
Printemps 1958. Rose Pamphyle, 21 ans, vit avec son père, veuf bourru
qui tient le bazar d’un petit village normand. Elle doit épouser le fils
du garagiste et est promise au destin d’une femme au foyer docile et
appliquée. Mais Rose ne veut pas de cette vie. Elle part pour Lisieux où
Louis Echard, 36 ans, patron charismatique d’un cabinet d’assurance,
cherche une secrétaire. L’entretien d’embauche est un fiasco. Mais Rose a
un don : elle tape à la machine à écrire à une vitesse vertigineuse. La
jeune femme réveille malgré elle le sportif ambitieux qui sommeille en
Louis… Si elle veut le poste, elle devra participer à des concours de
vitesse dactylographique. Qu’importent les sacrifices qu’elle devra
faire pour arriver au sommet, il s’improvise entraîneur et décrète qu’il
fera d’elle la fille la plus rapide du pays, voire du monde ! Et
l’amour du sport ne fait pas forcément bon ménage avec l’amour tout
court…

Une comédie romantique ultra fraîche, drôle avec un superbe décor et une ambiance années 50 qui nous rend tout simplement nostalgiques des belles coiffures, des longues jupes, des traits d'eyeliner d'Audrey Hepburn... Romain Duris et Déborah François forment un duo parfait, ils nous font rire, sourire, bref, on s'évade dans un autre univers le temps d'une belle soirée au cinéma. Un vrai moment de plaisir!
With Karl Lagerfeld's new book coming out, I got inspired for an outfit with this great little black jacket. This one is from Vero Moda (there's a discount -30% on the whole collection now on Famousbox, so be quick and go get it!). A little black jacket is definately a must-have piece in every girl's wardrobe. The best thing about it is that you can wear it during the day with a pair of jeans and some cool sneakers for a casual look, but you can also wear it if you feel like dressing up for a night out. At least that's how I roll ;) But I think it really does the trick...
If you have to buy a new winter coat this year, make sure it's oversized! Jil Sander, Isabel Marant, Céline and many more have totally set the trend during their F/W fashion shows and I have to say I really like it. OK well obviously, it's not the most flattering shape for a coat (and boys probably won't like it), but I think it can look great with a pair skinny jeans and pretty heels or boots. Plus they're perfect to wear over looots of layers to keep you warm.
