Yup, it's monday, it's raining, it's snowing, it's cold...so I'm feeling a little dark these days and I just want to wear a good old classic black outfit. You can never go wrong with it.

I know I should wear some colours to brighten up my day but I'll just wear red lipstick or a neon bracelet and I'm off!

Belgische MODE belge

Trend Alert: Plaid shirts

... Trend might not be the adequate word, but it sure is a classic piece that never goes out of style. I tend to grab one of my plaid shirts whenever I feel like wearing something comdortable and stylish at the same time. Wear them loose, with rolled up sleeves and pair them with your favorite skinny jeans or black leggins and you're ready to go. I mostly style plaid shirts with black biker boots, but it also totally works with a good pair of Converse or even with heels or flats.

Tip: if you don't find any plaid shirts you like in the women's department, go take a look at the men's section... It might look even better ;) However, here is some inspiration, enjoy!
